Proceed along the beach in a westerly direction towards Abersoch. The turnaround point will be at the far end of the beach near Y Fach where you will return along the same route in the opposite direction. Full Marathon Same as the Half and 10k route, but proceed beyond the Half Marathon turnaround point up through the path onto the main A499 road and follow the footway into Abersoch (if tidal conditions are favourable the route may be diverted along the beach and access the road at Land and Sea). Leave the beach at this point and proceed along the access road and take a left towards the Abersoch Golf Club, a trackway will take you to a car park and the end of the beach at Machroes. Take a right turn and a short uphill section along a minor road before taking a left turn. The minor road leads you onto a gravely road where after a short climb you take the path to your left through a kissing gate. The path leads you along the Porth Tocyn headland and towards Porth Ceiriad. Follow the path onwards around the Cilan headland and drop down onto Porth Neigwl, follow the path just above the beach where a right turn will take you to the main beach Car Park (feed station).
